The Partner Data Standard
Partners cannot list vague inventory. Structured specifications are required before a listing is published to the network.
Purity
Stated karat, and verified purity once a piece is inspected.
Weight
Actual gram weight rather than a category or nominal figure.
Construction
Solid, semi-solid or hollow — the single largest driver of real value.
Dimensions
Width in millimetres and length in inches.
Condition
Described plainly, including wear and prior repair.
Origin
Country of manufacture where it is known.
Seller
Who you are buying from, and who fulfils the order.
Verification Status
Whether this specific physical piece has been inspected by us.
Exchange Eligibility
Whether the piece can participate in The Exchange under current terms.
Partners
Who lists in the network.
Each partner is an approved business with a public profile. Approval covers the seller — never an individual piece.
Curation
Approval is a process, not a badge purchase.
No jeweler can self-publish into The Karat Club. Every partner and every listing passes through review.

A jeweler applies to the network with business details, product mix and origin.

The Karat Club reviews identity, product quality and data capability by hand.

Approved partners receive terms, an agreement and a public partner profile.

Each listing is checked against The Karat Standard before it appears.

Partners are monitored on data accuracy and can be paused or suspended.
